    Frequently Asked Questions

The Common Application or Coalition Application starts and ends the procedure (Northeastern accepts both). You must pick Northeastern as one of the schools to which you are applying when you establish an account. Then, using the Application portal, complete and submit your application online.
Using the Application Status Check, students can indicate whether they want to take the test. This preference defaults to what is specified in the application, and students have until the following dates to make their decision—after that date, test-optional status will be locked in:
Early Decision I is due on November 10th, and Early Action is due on December 1st. By the 10th of January, you must have made your Early Decision II. 1st of February, regular decision
To begin, let's define each term: Early Decision is a great option for students who know Northeastern is the proper intellectual, social, and financial match for them. Hence, if enrolled, you must commit to attending Northeastern and withdraw all other applications.
Early Action is a non-binding option for students who want to have their best foot forward sooner rather than later. Senior year grades and late fall standardised testing scores will not be seen by the Admissions Committee.
Early Decision I and Early Action applications must be submitted by November 1, and Early Decision II applications must be submitted by January 1.
