The University of Sheffield offers a 3-year Electronic Engineering BEng course through its Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) Department. The tuition fee for this program is £24,450. To apply for admission to the Electronic Engineering BEng course, students need to prove their English language skills. The accepted tests for this purpose are IELTS and PTE.

Students will gain a solid understanding of the essential knowledge and skills in the field of engineering. This includes topics such as computer hardware, analog circuits, communication systems, power electronics, semiconductor devices, and optoelectronics.

In their first year, students will participate in the faculty's Global Engineering Challenge. They will collaborate with students from different engineering disciplines to tackle a real-world problem.

During the second year, students will engage in a week-long project created by one of the industry partners, providing them with practical experience.

Additionally, students will have the opportunity to work with an engineering company through the Sheffield Industrial Project Scheme, allowing them to apply their learning in a real-world setting.

12th Grade

Students must have completed Standard XII from India, with 80% marks if from CBSE, CISCE, or Maharashtra State Board. For students from the West Bengal Board, the requirement is 70%. Required subjects include Maths and either Physics, Chemistry, or Electronics.

IELTS

Marks: 6.0

Students need a minimum score of 6 in IELTS, with at least 5.5 in each part.

PTE

Marks: 56.0

A score of 56 out of 90 is required, with at least 51 in each part.
