The School of Aeronautics and Astronautics (College of Engineering) is the place to turn the flight of imagination into reality. Ever since 1920, the school has been producing aerospace professionals that have served in various missions besides finding solutions for smoother, more efficient, and more productive atmospheric and astronomical flight.

Project-based learning to create leaders in the field of technology has been the hallmark of the school. The department has the largest academic propulsion lab in the world- ZUCROW Labs. The first man to land on the moon, Neil Armstrong was from this university. The department was ranked 5th in graduate programs in the US by US news.
