From Percentage to GPA

The following steps are followed to arrive at the results:

  1. The alphabetical grade is determined as per WES Guidelines
    India - Grading Scale
    Scale U.S. Grade Equivalent
    70-100 A
    50-69 B
    35*-49 C
    0-32 F
    *At selected institutions, a lower grade may be considered passing.

  2. Grade equivalents are used to determine the upper limits of GPA

    • A - 4 Points
    • B - 3 Points
    • C - 2 Points
    • F - 1 Point
  3. Your percentage is converted to the equivalent Grade and GPA by extrapolating the values as per the above-mentioned intervals.
