Infrastructure

The University campus is located in Fullerton and is spread over 236 acres of land. Apart from academic and administrative buildings, the campus also has a $143 million housing complex. The housing campus includes five residence halls, a 565-seat dining hall, and a convenience store. There is a Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary as well as a Fullerton Arboretum. There is also a Student recreation center and The Performing Arts Center.

Residing Options

The University offers on-campus accommodation to its students. There is a choice between traditional style accommodation and apartment style accommodation. The students are given furnished rooms and they can also choose from the various meal plans on offer.

The faculty at CSUF is academically acclaimed and pioneers in various fields of education.

California State University, Fullerton (CSUF or Cal State Fullerton) is a public university in Fullerton, California. Fullerton is a city located in northern Orange County in California. An interesting fact about Fullerton is that it is considered to be the birthplace of the electric guitar.It is approximately 47 km southeast of downtown Los Angeles and approximately 18 km north-northwest of Santa Ana.

The easiest way to get to Fullerton is by train from Los Angeles Union Station to Fullerton Amtrak Station and then a bus to the University. It should take around 1 hour 15 minutes. Driving from Los Angeles takes around 30 minutes. A taxi would cost around $200. The closest airport to the university is John Wayne Airport which is 17 miles away from the center of the university.
