Memorial University of Newfoundland

Memorial University is ranked among the top 3% of universities worldwide. International students from more than 90 different countries make up more than one-third of Memorial University's graduate students. It is dedicated to giving students the best possible experience and provides them with a wide selection of nationally renowned academic and professional support programs.

Memorial University is situated in a smaller province, whereas the majority of foreign students attend universities in larger provinces like British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec. To entice more international students, they offer lower rates.

The programs at Memorial University have a strict admissions policy. It is important for applicants to understand that fulfilling the minimum requirements does not ensure acceptance into the program. Only 24 to 30 students are admitted each year out of the over 150 applications the university receives.
