Stanford University

Stanford consistently ranks among the top 10 national colleges, earning it a reputation as one of the nation's best research universities. Stanford is renowned for its tremendous return on investment and enterprising student body in addition to its outstanding academics.

With regard to rankings, Stanford is in a better position. On many ranking lists, there aren't many differences between the two colleges. For instance, Harvard is ranked #5 and Stanford is ranked #1 for the best business schools in 2020 by QS World University.

Technically, Stanford is not a member of the Ivy League. It is comparable to the Ivies, though. It has even earned the moniker "Harvard of the West" colloquially. Stanford is a very prestigious, selective, and influential university that is frequently ranked higher than several Ivy League schools.

Candidates must take English proficiency tests like the TOFEL and IELTS. Non-native English speakers must obtain 7.0 on the IELTS, 100 or higher on the TOFEL, and 68 or higher on the PTE Academic. Additionally, in order to be eligible for the Stanford University Scholarship, applicants must score between 31 and 35 on the ACT and 1450 to 1590 on the SAT.

Both the Coalition Application and the Common Application are accepted for applications to Stanford. The additional prerequisites for applying to Stanford are:

•  Letters of recommendation from counselors and the school report
•  Authentic transcript
•  recommendation letters from professors (2)
• Transcript for midyear
•  Additional possible materials consist of an Optional arts portfolio and SAT/ACT
