The Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science offered by the Department of Computer Science is a research-oriented degree, and credit hours accumulated can be counted towards the Ph.D. in Computer Science. The graduate faculty evaluates the Ph.D. candidate’s ability to do independent research work.
