The University of New Haven was established on the Yale University campus in 1920, and since then it has developed steadily into a thriving, elite comprehensive university that provides top-notch programs to undergraduate and graduate students in a number of locations. The University of New Haven's main campus is situated on an 82-acre block of land that overlooks the city of New Haven. The Pompea College of Business has a campus in Orange, Connecticut, where classes are held. In Tuscany, Italy, there is a satellite campus that provides classes in human biology, economics, and other subjects. The university offers 74 undergraduate majors, 44 graduate study areas, and a criminal justice Ph.D. through its several colleges.
Accommodation
Twelve on-campus residence halls and three off-campus choices are available to students at the university, including classic residence halls, townhouses, apartment-style suites, and living-learning communities. More than 70% of all undergraduates who are enrolled full-time live on campus. An excellent 30:1 student-to-staff ratio applies to first-year residents. On-campus residents enjoy unlimited access to WiFi in their living halls, as well as in all of the campus's classes and social areas. 70% of all first-year students who live on campus are from places other than Connecticut, including other countries in the United States and beyond.
Traditional undergraduate living options include Bixler, Savin Court, Bethel, Forest Hills, Sheffield, Dunham, Gerber, and Winchester Hall. Bergami Hall, Main Street Condominiums, Celentano Hall - Single Occupancy and Double Occupancy, Westside Hall Semi-Suite and Full Suite, and The Atwood - Undergraduate Standard Room are the additional residence halls for undergraduate students. The Park View, Atwood, and Savin Court Apartments provide graduate student accommodation funded by the university, with all contemporary conveniences close to the campus. The university's housing options also provide a variety of meal programs.
Infrastructure
The University of New Haven has spent $250 million building a cutting-edge campus. It has campuses in Tuscany (Prato), New London, Orange, and West Haven, Connecticut (main campus). Pompea College of Business is located on the Orange campus, which is surrounded by more than 300 acres of revitalizing green space.
The university is steadfast in its commitment to a green campus. As part of a green campus project, the university has implemented solar panels, other energy-efficient technologies, hydration stations, reusable water bottles, and tray-less dining on its campus.
Students can learn about a rich culture and language at the Tuscany campus in the historic Italian city of Prato. A center for exploration and discovery is the Bergami Center for Science, Technology, and Innovation. It is intended to encourage interdisciplinary learning and teamwork throughout the University.
In order to help students develop their skills, the university offers more than 160 clubs and organizations, a campus radio station, community service initiatives, 21 club sports teams, and 17 varsity sports. The Accessibility Resource Center, Myatt Center for Diversity and Inclusion, Career Development Center, Center for Student Engagement, Health & International Services, and many other resources are available to students.

International students are not eligible for financial aid from the university, but they are eligible for merit-based scholarships and honors. Provost's Assistantship:

Dean's Scholarship Program:

The Career Development Center (CDC) in New Haven coordinates career counseling, internships, and other student career development activities. In order to connect students, alumni, and teachers with internship and employment opportunities, the Center also oversees the partnerships with outside recruiting agencies. Within six months of graduation, 97% of bachelor graduates find their jobs with 95.5% being the employment rate for University of New Haven graduates.
After six months of graduation, 84.82% of University of New Haven MBA graduates were employed full-time. The career result rate for the Pompea College of Business is 95.54%.
