Popularly known as UNC Charlotte, this university was established in 1946 and it is now the largest institute of higher education in Charlotte. Attached to the main campus is Charlotte Research Institute that focuses on optoelectronics, metrology and information technology. UNC offers students 85 bachelor’s programs, 63 master’s programs and 21 doctoral programs to the students.

UNC Charlotte has 3 main campuses: Charlotte Research Institute, Center City and the main campus, which is located in the University City. The main campus is surrounded by several man-made lakes and a lot of greenery. The New building was constructed with neoclassical architecture theme and the road system of the campus is upgraded as well. There is an on-campus football stadium that can easily seat together around 15,300 students.

This university has a Faculty Council that looks after all the affairs of the faculty within the campus. With regular meetings, the council smoothly carries off the important guidelines lined up for the professors so that they perform their duties with full enthusiasm. The faculty is full of experienced professors that are learned in their fields and motivate students to do best in their studies.

Financial aid

UNC receives the donation from a private source and that is the Leon Levine family. The university has also started a scholarship program named after this family and this scholarship all the essential expenses that university bears for the students.
