University of Western Sydney - Overview & Background

Western Sydney University, formerly known as the University of Western Sydney, is a multi-campus Australian university located in Sydney, Australia's Greater Western region. Although the university's origins date back to 1891, the Western Sydney Federal University first came into effect in 1989, and the other colleges banded together to create the university that we now know in 1995.

With campuses in Bankstown, Blacktown, Campbelltown, Hawkesbury, Liverpool, Parramatta, and Penrith, it is a provider of undergraduate, postgraduate and higher research degrees.

  6. School of Nursing and Midwifery
