The campus is spread across 930 acres and is a sight to behold for nature lovers. It is home to preserved forests and is dotted with woods, lakes, and wetlands. Hence, it is quite a nature lover’s paradise. The University also has five centers with libraries that house thousands of volumes of books. Students also have access to research labs, a huge greenhouse at the Science Block, art museums and art centers.

Despite its name, the university is actually located in Vestal, N.Y., a suburb of Binghamton.
