Illinois Institute of Technology, founded in 1890, is a private research university. In 1940, a merger between Armour Institute and Lewis Institute led to the creation of Illinois Institute of Technology – a private University that focuses on technology-focused research.

The university is located in Illinois, Chicago. What is IIT Chicago's policy on course repetition?

Graduate students may repeat up to two different courses, each of which may only be done once. Both grades will be recorded, with the most recent grade used in the calculation of the grade-point average. If applicable, re-registration to repeat a course may require consent from the academic unit head, student's adviser and associate dean for the Graduate College, along with the completion of the Graduate Course Repeat Request form.
