San Jose State University (SJSU) consists of two campuses: the main campus in downtown San Jose and a South Campus located roughly 1.5 miles south of the central San Jose State University campus.

  • Main Campus: About fifty-five buildings dotting 154 acres (62 ha) make up the main campus. The university is flanked by South 4th Street to the west, South 10th Street to the east, San Fernando Street to the north, and San Salvador Street to the south. Administrative offices, student accommodation, and several academic buildings are on the main campus.
  • South Campus: On the South Campus, athletic facilities consist mainly of the Spartan Golf Complex and CEFCU Stadium, formerly Spartan Stadium. Also housed there are several training, practice and competition facilities as well as administrative offices for the athletics department. Monday through Thursday, shuttle buses run every ten to fifteen minutes, connecting the South Campus to the main university.
