Vanderbilt University campus is located in Nashville and is spread across 330 acres. The campus is a National Arboretum and has more than 300 species of trees and shrubs. The campus is eclectically designed and has buildings of various eras and in different designs. The University has excellent faculty – most of who are recognized in their respective fields. Professors of the Math's and Engineering department are considered as one of the best in university. The Engineering school has 95 full-time professors and they are known to help out students even beyond working hours.

Though it is a private research University, Vanderbilt University offers scholarships and financial aid to its students. In fact, Out of 1,613 freshmen who enrolled at the University in 2017, 1,132 students received some kind of financial aid.

More than half the classes of incoming freshmen apply for financial aid and almost all of them manage to get some kind of financial help. That being said, if you want to receive a substantial amount of financial aid, you have to have a strong profile.

The average annual salary for students after completing their Master of Science (MS) degree is around $82,895 according to Payscale.     Vanderbilt University is located in the midtown of Nashville in Tennessee on the West End Avenue. The campus location brings the best of both worlds of nature and the bustle of the city life. The University is only 1.5 miles from downtown Nashville.

    The pentagonal campus of the university is located between the West End Avenue on the west, 21st Avenue S. on the East and 21st Avenue N. on the North. It is easily accessible by road and airways. I-65 and I-40 connect the campus to the suburbs.

    The nearest airport is the Nashville International Airport which lies about 10 miles east of the main campus of the university via Edgehill Avenue and I-40E. Gray Line Airport Service and Shuttle Services are available for $20 or less. Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority buses can also be used to reach the campus
