Queen's University Belfast offers a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Chemical Engineering through its School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. Stage 2 builds on students' knowledge of Chemical Engineering. It deepens their understanding of thermodynamics and heat and mass transfer, and teaches them how to use computer tools for designing, modeling, and controlling systems.

Stage 3 continues to expand on core Chemical Engineering topics and introduces new areas like biochemical engineering.

Students will practice their skills by designing a chemical plant. This includes calculating material and energy flows, considering safety and environmental issues, and analyzing economics to ensure the project is feasible.

12th Grade

Students must have completed the Standard Indian XII (10+2) exams from CBSE, CISCE, or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education, with an overall average of at least 75%. They also need a minimum of 75% in Mathematics and at least one other subject from Chemistry (preferred), Biology, Computer Science, Digital Technology, Geography, ICT (not Applied ICT), Physics, Software Systems Development, Technology, Design, or Double Award Life & Health Sciences.

IELTS

Marks: 6.0

Candidates must score at least 5.5 in each of the four sections of the IELTS.

PTE

Marks: 55.0

Students must get at least 51 in each part of the PTE.
