Queen's University Belfast has a Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences that offers a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Microbiology with Professional Studies. This is a four-year degree program focused primarily on science. For international students, the tuition fees for this program are £21,400. Additionally, students who wish to enroll in this degree must provide proof of their English language skills, which can be demonstrated through an IELTS score.

12th Grade

Students must have completed their 12th grade from CBSE, CISCE, or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education with a minimum overall score of 75%. Required subjects include BBB with Biology and at least one from Chemistry (preferred), Geography, Mathematics, or Physics. Additionally, they need GCSE Chemistry grade B/6 or GCSE Double Award Science grades BB/6,6, along with GCSE Mathematics grade C/4. Alternatively, students can have BBB with Double Award Applied Science or Double Award Life & Health Sciences, GCSE Biology grade C/4, and GCSE Chemistry grade B/6 or GCSE Double Award Science grades BB/6,6, plus GCSE Mathematics grade C/4. Students can also qualify with ABB including Biology, and GCSE Chemistry grade B/6 or GCSE Double Award Science grades BB/6,6, along with GCSE Mathematics grade C/4. Successful completion of an Access Course with an average of 80% and no less than 70% in any module, typically including two Biology modules and one Chemistry module, is also accepted. GCSE Mathematics grade C or equivalent in the Access Course is necessary.
