Queen's University Belfast has a Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences that offers a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Professional Nursing with a focus on Mental Health. This degree program lasts for three years and is designed to prepare students for a career in nursing. The tuition fees for international students at Queen's University Belfast are £17,900 per year. This three-year degree program combines theory and practice, training students to become top professionals in Mental Health Nursing.

Starting in February 2023, students will spend half of their time in classes learning the latest nursing theories and clinical skills. The other half will be spent with our well-known training partners in various clinical and community settings across Northern Ireland.

Upon finishing this program, you will become a Registered Nurse in Mental Health Nursing. You will gain a special set of knowledge, skills, and expertise that focuses on person-centered care and co-production, which helps promote and maintain health and well-being.

12th Grade

Students must have completed 12th grade from CBSE, CISCE, or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education with a minimum overall score of 70%. Required subjects include BCC with a relevant Science (Biology/Human Biology, Chemistry, Life & Health Sciences, Mathematics, or Physics) or BBC if a relevant Science subject is not available. Additionally, students should have at least 5 GCSEs at grade B, including Mathematics and a Science subject. A minimum grade C in GCSE English Language or an equivalent qualification is also necessary. For Access/Foundation course applicants, a grade B in GCSE Mathematics and a Science subject is required or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of 70% in NICATS Mathematics and 70% in a Level 3 Biology, Chemistry, or Physics module can fulfill the GCSE requirements. Access/Foundation Course requirements include 65% with two modules of Science or 70% with one module, or 70% in an Access Course with no science modules.

IELTS

Marks: 7.0

Applicants must achieve a minimum score of 7.0 in Listening, Speaking, and Reading, and at least 6.5 in Writing.

PTE

Marks: 67.0

Candidates need a minimum score of 51 in each component.
