The School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Queen's University Belfast provides a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. This undergraduate program lasts four years and focuses on engineering principles. For international students, the tuition fees at Queen's University Belfast are £25,300. To apply for this degree, students need to meet the English language requirements, which can be demonstrated through IELTS or PTE scores.

This degree program covers a wide range of topics, including micro-electronic chip design and how to make and distribute power.

It also includes fast changes in areas like telecommunications, computer firmware, hardware and networking, medical electronics, security, control and robotics, and renewable energy systems.

Students can take part in a paid work placement for a year in the industry. They can also gain summer work experience through the IAESTE international exchange program. Countries like Canada, Croatia, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Malaysia are some of the places where our students have worked through this program.

This four-year extended engineering degree aims to prepare well-qualified engineers. It combines engineering knowledge with skills in business and management.

There is a key part of the program that focuses on entrepreneurship, providing important information about starting a business. The first two years of study are the same as the BEng degree.

12th Grade

Students must have completed their 12th grade from CBSE, CISCE, or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education with a minimum overall score of 85%. They also need at least 75% in Mathematics and one subject from Physics (preferred), Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Further Mathematics, or Design.

IELTS

Marks: 6.0

Students must score at least 5.5 in each test.

PTE

Marks: 55.0

Students need a minimum score of 51 in each component.
