Queen's University Belfast has a Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences that offers a Master of Science (MSc) in Professional Nursing with a focus on Adult Nursing. This degree program lasts for 2 years and is designed for those who want to pursue a career in nursing. The tuition fees for international students at Queen's University Belfast are £18,200. To gain admission to this program, students must meet language requirements, which include providing IELTS or PTE scores. Additionally, applicants need to have a graduation score of at least 60% to be considered for admission.

The MSc Professional Nursing program allows you to earn a Master's degree and become eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as an Adult Nurse. Nursing is a rewarding and skilled profession.

Students in this program will use our new high-quality Simulation Centre, which is the first of its kind in Europe. Students will work in teams with peers from other disciplines, such as Medicine and Pharmacy, and will have access to the latest learning technologies.

12th Grade

Graduation

All applicants usually need at least 5 GCSEs at grade C, including English Language or an equivalent qualification, Mathematics, and a Science subject (like Biology, Chemistry, or Physics). GCSE Applied Science cannot replace GCSE Science. Additionally, applicants must have an Honours degree in any subject with a minimum award of 2.1. Those with a 2.2 degree will be considered on a case-by-case basis. For a Bachelor degree, candidates should have a First Division Pass with a final average of 60% or a CGPA of 7.5 out of 10.

IELTS

Marks: 7.0

Applicants must score 7 in IELTS, with no less than 7.0 in reading, listening, and speaking, and no less than 6.5 in writing.

PTE

Marks: 67.0

A minimum score of 67 in PTE is required, with at least 51 in each component.
