BA Classics and English at University of Oxford

The Faculty of Classics at the University of Oxford offers a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Classics and English. This three-year degree program focuses on Humanities and Social Sciences. For international students, the tuition fees at Oxford University amount to £41,130. Additionally, to apply for this degree course, students are required to submit their IELTS or PTE scores.

12th Grade

You need a minimum of 90% overall. For English, you should have English Literature or English Language and Literature at A-level, Advanced Higher, Higher Level in the IB, or an equivalent. Studying classical languages (Latin and Ancient Greek), Classical Civilisation, Ancient History, or a modern language can help but are not required. For CBSE students, you won't know your grades when applying, but you need grades A1 in relevant subjects. For CISCE students, you need an overall grade of 90% or more, with at least 95% in two subjects (including relevant ones) and 85% in three others. State board examinations and NIOS Year XII qualifications are not accepted.

You need a minimum of 66 in Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing. There are no specific scores required in Enabling Skills.
