The institution-specific cutoff is 60% or 2.4 (4) or 4.2 (7) or 6.0 (10) for IITs, IIMs, IISERs, IIITDMs, IIITs, NITs, Institutes of National Importance, and Top NIRF ranked colleges/institutions. For State/Central Institutes, the minimum is 65% or 2.6 (4) or 4.5 (7) or 6.5 (10). For Private/Deemed Institutes, the minimum is 70% or 2.8 (4) or 4.9 (7) or 5.6 (8) or 7.0 (10). Law applicants with a 5-year LLB need at least 55% for IITs, IIMs, IISERs, IIITDMs, IIITs, NITs, Institutes of National Importance, and Top NIRF ranked colleges/institutions. For State/Central Institutes, they need 58% and for Private/Deemed Institutes, they need 60%.
