Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

Statement of Purpose (SOP)

Write a statement of purpose that is 500 words or less. Answer the question: What does a graduate education mean to you? Why are you pursuing it, and why at Christian Brothers University?

Letters of Recommendation (LOR)

Provide two letters of recommendation. If you are applying for the Master of Science in Educational Leadership (MSEL) program, you need three letters. These letters should come from former teachers or supervisors who can confirm your readiness for graduate study. If you are applying for a teaching license, the letters should be from those who can speak to your ability to become a teacher.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Submit your resume or CV if you are applying for the Master of Business Administration program.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

1. One official transcript from each college or university you have attended.

2. If you have transcripts from non-U.S. schools, they must be evaluated by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). Request a detailed evaluation or a course-by-course report.

3. Proof of English language proficiency.

4. Official test score report from GMAT or GRE for MBA and MAcc programs.
