Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

Statement of Purpose (SOP)

The Statement of Purpose is a document of one page or less. It should describe your personal and professional interests, goals, and how the MFA in Screen Acting program will help you achieve them. Feel free to add any other relevant information.

Letters of Recommendation (LOR)

You need to submit two letters of recommendation. It is best if these letters come from people who can talk about your work as an actor, performer, or creative person. Just sending the reference form is not enough.

Performance Resume (CV)

Your performance resume should list your acting experience and skills.

You must include transcripts from all schools where you earned credits for your undergraduate degree.

Proof of English Language Proficiency

You need to show that you can speak and write in English well.

Video Audition

Submit two contrasting monologues, each no longer than 60 seconds. At least one monologue should be from a contemporary text. Make sure to include a "slate" at the beginning of the video with your name and the title and/or writer of each piece.
