Electrical engineers work with electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. They design and create electronic devices.

Electrical engineering includes many areas like power generation, transportation (cars and planes), communication (radio, TV, wireless, and phones), robotics, computers (including memory systems, displays, and microprocessors), defense (like navigation, radar, and secure communication), and consumer electronics (such as DVD and MP3 players).

Electrical engineering and computer engineering are similar because they both use the same basic skills.

However, electrical engineering is a broader field. It covers more topics like electronics, controls, electromagnetics, and signal processing. On the other hand, computer engineering focuses more on computers and software, including computer design, networking, operating systems, and algorithms.

12th Grade

Students must have a high school certificate. A GPA of 2.8 to 4.0 means they can be admitted in good standing. Recommended high school courses include: 4 years of English, 4 years of Math (one class beyond math 3), 3.5 years of Social Science, 3 years of Lab-Based Science (one each of biology, chemistry, and physics), and 2 years of a world language (the same language taken during grades 9-12).

Marks: 71.0

A minimum score of 71 out of 120 is required for TOEFL.

IELTS

Marks: 6.0

A minimum score of 6 out of 9 is needed, with at least 5.0 on each subscale.
