To complete the Master’s program, students need to earn at least 30 credit hours, which is equivalent to 10 graduate courses. You can choose to write a master’s thesis, which counts for 9 credits, or complete a project-based capstone, known as the Graduate Qualifying Project (GQP) or Capstone Project.

Applicants must have a completed undergraduate degree from an accredited institution to apply for graduate programs at WPI. Those who have both a National Diploma and a Higher National Diploma can also apply. All graduate students should have their undergraduate degree finished before starting their studies.

The Statement of Purpose is a short essay where you talk about your background, interests, academic goals, and why you believe you would benefit from the program. Make sure to submit your SOP electronically with the online application.
You need to submit three letters of recommendation. These should come from people who can speak about your qualifications for studying your chosen field at a graduate level. You must invite your recommenders to submit their letters through the online application.
You must provide transcripts from all the colleges or universities you attended after high school. These transcripts should be in English and in the original language from all accredited institutions. Once admitted, you need to submit official transcripts showing that you have completed your bachelor’s degree before you start the program.
You will also need to submit a score showing your English language skills.
