The mechanical engineering graduate program at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) gets a lot of funding from important sources like the National Institutes of Health, NASA, the National Science Foundation, and Sandia National Labs.

Graduation
To apply for the M.S. program, you need a B.S. in mechanical engineering or a related field such as other engineering disciplines, physics, or mathematics. The requirements are the same for both thesis and non-thesis options. You must specify your choice when applying. If you have both a National Diploma and a Higher National Diploma, you can also apply. You must have completed your undergraduate degree from an accredited institution before starting the graduate program.
