Overview

Andrews University is a private Seventh-day Adventist university located in Berrien Springs, Michigan. It was founded by Mr. Goodloe Bell in 1874, starting with just 12 students in Battle Creek, Michigan. Today, it stands as the largest Adventist educational institution in the world and is named after John Nevins Andrews, a prominent scholar in the 19th century.

The university consists of 10 schools and 4 colleges, including the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary. It offers a wide range of programs with 94 undergraduate and 67 graduate programs. The School of Graduate Studies oversees post-baccalaureate degrees, while the College of Education & International Services manages off-campus and online programs.

The School of Education provides various degrees, including bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs across 31 different education fields. There is also a leadership program that focuses on advanced education in leadership disciplines. The School of Health Professions covers health-related sciences, including departments like Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Public Health.

Students who have served as Student Missionaries or Taskforce Volunteers are eligible for the Understudy Missionary/Taskforce Volunteer Scholarship, which offers a $1,500 grant for one year. Additionally, students may receive named grants based on their academic achievements, declared major, and career aspirations.
