Gonzaga University is a private university founded in 1887. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 5,317 students and sits on a 152-acre campus. As a Roman Catholic institution, Gonzaga offers theology courses for those interested in the priesthood and collaborates with Bishop White Seminary. The Gonzaga University School of Law is one of three law schools in Washington State and has produced many state supreme court justices. The university has also established the Center for Global Engagement to support its diverse international student community. A highly competitive mock trial club is available for students interested in political law, requiring them to pass rigorous tryouts to join.

Gonzaga provides various career development opportunities, including Career Treks, which help students network with graduate students and employers in major cities across the nation. These programs allow students to connect with partner organizations during corporate trips, career fairs, and networking events.

The university offers several employment options for students. The Federal Work-Study program provides part-time jobs for students with financial needs, focusing on community service and jobs related to their field of study. Gonzaga also places over 1,500 students in non-work study positions each year, funded directly through the university's budget. Additionally, Washington State residents with financial needs can access off-campus work-study positions close to the campus.
