The Waterloo International student entrance scholarship provides a financial aid of INR 6,30,000 to all its scholarship holders.
To be considered for the International Student Entrance Scholarships, a candidate must meet the University of Waterloo's standards. The applicant must:
Be an international student in Canada with a study permit
Be applying to a full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Waterloo
Demonstrate academic distinction with a grade point average of 90% or higher.
In addition, applicants must meet the university's entrance requirements:
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required, as well as a minimum of six Grade 12 U or M courses, including all necessary courses.
If English is not the applicant's first language, they may be required to complete the university's English language requirements:
AIF (Admission Information Form) may also be considered.

There is no separate application required for consideration of the Waterloo International Student Entrance Scholarship. Applicants who apply for admission to the University of Waterloo and meet the qualifying requirements for scholarships are eligible.

Because the Waterloo International Student Entrance Scholarship is merit-based, the admission committee's primary criterion for selecting an applicant is academic proficiency.
Students that have a grade point average of 90% or higher will be considered for the scholarship.
The AIF may also be taken into account when awarding the scholarship.
Results of the Euclid Math Contest
After the university receives the final mark sheets from the prior institution, the prizes will be announced in May. Applicants who are beginning their post-secondary education for the first time and meet the eligibility requirements may be considered for the Waterloo International Student Entrance Scholarship. After applying for admission to the university, the applicant will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
