    1. Australia Awards Scholarships 

    This scholarship is given to exceptional graduate Indian students who have enrolled for programs in engineering, construction, energy and resources, security, and strategic studies at leading Australian Universities. The scholarship covers the full tuition fee, a part of living expenses, etc. Applications for this scholarship open in the month of February and continue till April every year. An important thing to remember here is that students who get this scholarship must return to India after completing their program. 

    2. Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarships 

    These scholarships for International students are awarded by individual Universities on behalf of the Department of Education. The application procedure, as well as the selection, differs from university to university. It is given to students who take up Research Masters and Research Doctorate programs and will cover one or more of the tuition fees, cost of living, and other study-related expenses. A Research Masters scholarship is valid for 2 years while the Research Doctorate Scholarship is valid for a minimum of three years and a maximum of four years.

    3. GyanDhan Scholarship

    To make abroad studies more accessible to bright students, GyanDhan offers a scholarship of INR 1 Lakh to 1 student. This scholarship is a one-time reward provided to a student at the start of the academic year. The chosen student gets the scholarship for the postgraduate program, regardless of the course and the destination country.     4. CSIRO Scholarship Program

    50 of these scholarships are given to  “outstanding graduates who enroll each year at Australian tertiary institutions”. It is given for up to three years and can be extended for the fourth year too. 

    5. Destination Australia Scholarship

    This scholarship is for domestic and international students who enroll for graduate, masters or doctoral programs in regional Australia. 

    6. CSIRO Data61 Scholarship Program

    It is one of the Ph.D. scholarships in Australia that offers two types of awards - Data61 Ph.D. Scholarship and Data61 top-up scholarship to the selected candidates. Data61 Ph.D. comprises a full stipend, while Data61 top-up scholarship provides additional support if you are receiving the university/government/third-party funded scholarship. Your letter of offer will contain the benefits you will be getting which can be only a Ph.D. scholarship, only top-up scholarship, or both Ph.D. and top-up scholarships. The validity of the scholarship is a maximum of 3.5 years. The scholarship has strict eligibility criteria.     1. University of Melbourne Graduate Research Scholarship -This scholarship is awarded to approximately 600 high-achieving students pursuing graduate research at the University. It covers 100% fee remission and is up to $110,000. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship, and they will not have to submit a separate application. 
    2. The University of New South Wales Business School International Scholarship - This is one of the many postgraduate scholarships in Australia. 8 international postgraduate students of the university’s business school are given a scholarship of $10,000 per annum. The applicants will be selected based on their academics, extra-curricular activities, leadership skills, etc. 
    3. International Scientia Coursework Scholarship by University of New South Wales(PUCA1024) - This scholarship is given to international students commencing a graduate or post-graduate program at the University. The scholarship has two schemes. The first one covers the full tuition fee while the second one grants $20,000 per annum towards tuition fees. 
    4. Monash International Leadership Scholarship - International students commencing a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate program at the University are eligible for this scholarship. The scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fees. 
    5. The Monash MBA International Excellence in Leadership Scholarship - Two scholarships, each of $16,000, are given to exceptional students pursuing an MBA from the University. Students have to apply for this scholarship. The selected applicants will then be called for an interview. 
    6. Peter Faber Business School Postgraduate Scholarship - The Peter Faber Business School Postgraduate Scholarship is meant for students enrolled in any postgraduate program at the Peter Faber Business School, Australian Catholic University. This scholarship is open to international students who are enrolled full-time in a postgraduate program at the School of Business of ACU. Students applying for this scholarship must not be receiving any other scholarship or financial award from the government or ACU. The scholarship amount is $10,000 and is given every year. This scholarship is given only to those students who have a previous academic result of 70% or more. There is no formal application for this scholarship. The information given in your application form for admission to the postgraduate program will be assessed by the university and eligible students will be informed. 
    7. University of Sydney Dr. Abdul Kalam International Postgraduate Scholarship - The University of Sydney offers this scholarship to international students pursuing a Full-time Masters' course in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies at the University. Students who have achieved distinction in their undergraduate study can apply for this scholarship. Applicants should not have any other scholarship from the University. The scholarship value includes 50% of the tuition fee for one year.
    8. The University of Queensland - School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences Indian Scholarship - The University gives this scholarship to Indian students pursuing a Masters's program at the School of Chemistry & Molecular Biosciences. The scholarship tenure is during the duration of the course and the amount includes 50% of the tuition fee value. Students who have got 75% or more in their undergraduate program can apply for this scholarship.

    College-Specific Undergraduate Scholarships -

    1. University of Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship - Melbourne University gives this scholarship to highly meritorious international students who are enrolled with the University. No application is required for this scholarship. All students are considered for it. The scholarship either includes a 100% or 50% fee waiver for the three year duration of an undergraduate degree or $10,000 tuition fee remission in the 1st year of an undergraduate degree.
    2. Swinburne University - Swinburne International Excellence Undergraduate Scholarship - Swinburne University gives this scholarship to international students who are enrolled in an undergraduate program (“except the Bachelor of Aviation and Piloting, and the Bachelor of Aviation and Piloting/Bachelor of Business double degree”) at the University. The Scholarship amount is up to $38,000 for the entire duration of the bachelor's degree. Applicants must not be currently enrolled at the University.

    1. Monash International Leadership Scholarship - International students commencing a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate program at the University are eligible for this scholarship. The scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fees. 
    2. Monash University - Monash International Merit Scholarship - This scholarship is given by Monash University to international students enrolled with the University. The university offers 31 scholarships every year of a total scholarship value of up to AUS $50,000. The scholarship is given to students based on their academic performance. 
    3. Sydney Scholars India Equity Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded by the University of Sydney to Indian students commencing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework atin the University. Under this scholarship, 3 undergraduate students will be eligible for a scholarship of $50,000 per annum for four years while ten undergraduate and postgraduate students will get $20,000 for their first year. Another fifteen undergraduate and postgraduate students will get $10,000. 
    4. Vice-Chancellor International Scholarships Scheme - This is another scholarship given by The University of Sydney to international students applying to a CRICOS-registered undergraduate or postgraduate coursework. Four of these scholarships are available every year.
    5. Australian Catholic University International Student Scholarship - This scholarship is given to incoming international students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, who have demonstrated excellent academic merit in preceding studies. This scholarship is awarded by The Australian Catholic University and it gives 20 of these scholarships each year. Given to first-year international students, this scholarship is given to a student studying for any full-time degree at ACU. The scholarship amount is equal to 50% of the Tuition Fee. Students applying for this scholarship must not be receiving any other scholarship or financial award – the total sum value of which exceeds the tuition fees. This scholarship is not valid for Exchange students or students under the “Study Abroad” program.
    6. Australian National University - Study Canberra India Scholarship - This scholarship is given by Australian National University to Indian Students admitted to the undergraduate or postgraduate program at ANU. Applicants must have demonstrated excellent academic proficiency in their preceding coursework. The scholarship amount is AUS $10,000. 
    7. Griffith University - Griffith Remarkable Scholarship - This is given by Griffith University to Exceptional international students who have applied for undergraduate or postgraduate coursework at the University. The Scholarship covers 50% of tuition fees for the duration of the program. Students have to apply for the scholarship before the last date. Students must be enrolled in a full-time program to receive this scholarship.
