The Master of Science in Biology helps students build important skills and conduct research in many areas of biology. These areas include biochemistry, biological oceanography, botany, cellular and molecular biology, ecology, evolutionary biology, microbiology, and zoology. Students will work closely with a faculty advisor who will guide their research.
This Master’s program requires a minimum of 36 credits. Students must complete a thesis based on their own original research.
Students can transfer up to six credits of post-baccalaureate coursework from other schools, but this transfer needs to be approved by the Graduate Committee.
