Application Process for Texas Christian University

Step One: Prepare Your Application Documents

Gather the necessary documents for your application, which include:

• Letters of Recommendation (LOR)
• Teacher Evaluation/Recommendation
• Counselor Evaluation/Recommendation Form (or Secondary School Report)
• Essays

You need to submit one essay that is 300-500 words long. Choose one of the following topics for your essay:

• If you were to write a mission statement about your life, what would it be? How does this mission guide your life and goals?
• Tell us about the most significant person, experience, or circumstance that has shaped your life so far. How has this influenced your character? How can you use what you have learned to reach your goals?
• Many successful people point to a failure as a key moment in their lives. Share a time when failure pushed you toward success.
• In the book "The Secret Life of Bees," TCU alumna Sue Monk Kidd said, "The hardest thing on earth is choosing what matters." What matters to you?

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

You will also need to submit these additional documents:

• Official High School Transcript
• College Transcripts from each institution you have attended, if applicable
• SAT/ACT Scores (optional)
• Proof of English Language Proficiency
• Financial Statement

Step Four: Application Fees

The application fee is USD 50, which is approximately INR 4.21 Thousand. International students living outside the U.S. and attending the August orientation must pay at least 40% of their total charges (tuition, fees, room, and board) during orientation or by September 5. For those starting in January, the payment is due by February 5, with the remaining balance payable in three monthly installments.
