The Master of Community and Regional Planning (M.C.R.P.) is a professional degree program that focuses on planning. This program looks at global trends that affect changes in communities and regions, and it emphasizes planning that respects different cultures.

The program covers both rural and urban areas and how they connect with each other. Students can also pursue formal dual degrees with the Latin American Studies program, the School of Public Administration, and the Water Resources program.

M.C.R.P. graduates have also created their own dual degrees with Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Public Health. Students are encouraged to participate in fieldwork and professional internships to gain real-world experience. The M.C.R.P. degree is nationally accredited by The Planning Accreditation Board (PAB).
