The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics attracts students who have strong academic records and wish to make a positive impact by influencing policies in various areas of society.

Students will explore important policy questions, such as: What is the best way to reduce environmental pollution? What role should the government play in our economy? What rules should be in place for trade between countries?

Additionally, students can focus on specific areas like health care, agriculture, education, crime, politics, urban and regional development, law, history, energy, and the environment.

12th Grade

To apply, students must have finished high school with a minimum GPA of 2.50 on a 4.0 scale. They should have completed four units of English (three with significant writing), three units of mathematics (at least algebra I), three units of natural science (two with lab work), three units of social science (like history or economics), two units of the same foreign language or American Sign Language, and two additional elective units.

TOEFL

Marks: 71.0

Students must score at least 71 out of 120 on the TOEFL exam.

IELTS

Marks: 6.0

Students need a minimum score of 6 out of 9 on the IELTS.

DUOLINGO

Marks: 95.0

A minimum score of 95 out of 160 is required on the Duolingo English Test.

PTE

Marks: 50.0

Students need a minimum score of 50 out of 90 on the PTE.

Applicants must submit certified transcripts that show all previous academic work, including any post-secondary education.

Additionally, applicants need to complete and submit the following medical information:

• A Physician’s Evaluation Form and a Medical History Form filled out by a doctor, which shows the applicant’s physical and mental fitness for college-level studies.
• Documentation of MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) immunization.
• Proof of immunization for meningitis and hepatitis B, or a signed waiver that states the applicant's choice not to be vaccinated.
• Proof of medical insurance that meets University policy requirements.
• Certification of finances.
• Proof of English language proficiency.
• Standardized test score (ACT or SAT).

Step Three: Application Fees

The application fee for this course is:

• USD 30 (approximately INR 2.53 Thousand)

Payment Method: Credit card.

The University offers a payment plan that allows students to pay in up to five installments for the fall and spring semesters. For the summer semester, the payment plan offers up to four installments. The number of installments available depends on when the applicant enrolls in the payment plan.

To be eligible for the payment plan, an account balance of $300 or more is required.

Late payments will incur fees: tuition late fee is $100, and housing late fee is $50.

A one-time enrollment charge of $15 is added to the first payment.
