The University of West Florida offers a unique Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology, one of the few programs available in the United States. This program is managed by the Department of Biology.

They should have studied: four units of English (with three units having substantial writing), three units of mathematics (at least algebra I level), three units of natural science (two with lab requirements), three units of social science (such as history, economics, or psychology), two units of the same foreign language or American Sign Language (through the second level), and two additional academic elective units.

Certified transcripts showing all previous academic work, including post-secondary education.
A completed Physician’s Evaluation Form and a Medical History Form from a doctor, confirming the applicant's fitness to study at the college level.

Payment can be made using a credit card. The University of West Florida offers a payment plan that allows you to pay in installments:
Up to five installments for fall and spring semesters.

The number of installments depends on when you enroll in the payment plan. You need an account balance of $300 or more to qualify for the payment plan. Please note that late payments will incur fees: $100 for tuition and $50 for housing. There is also a one-time enrollment fee of $15 added to the first payment.
