France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship Program rewards its scholarship holders on the basis of course level.
Master level
Eiffel scholarship recipients receive a monthly allowance of INR 1,06,140 in addition to certain direct services, such as international airfare, domestic travel support, insurance, housing assistance, and cultural activities.
Doctoral level
Eiffel scholarship recipients receive a monthly allowance of INR 1,52,784 in addition to certain direct services, such as international airfare, domestic travel support, insurance, housing assistance, and cultural activities.
Tuition and fees are not covered by the Eiffel programme at the master's or doctoral levels.
Applicants for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship are not required to meet any special requirements, according to the eligibility criteria. You must, however, meet the following basic eligibility criteria as defined by the scholarship awarding body:
You must be an international student, and a copy of their passport must be submitted for verification.
Applications must be made through French educational institutions. Any applications received from other sources will be rejected.
You must be pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. programme. Scholarships are available for the following programmes:

Applicants must not have previously applied for any French government scholarship.
Students who apply a second time will not be considered, even if the institution and course are different.
Students should also have a basic understanding of French.
Students who received the scholarship at the Masters level may reapply for the scholarship at the Ph.D. level.

To learn about the deadlines, you should contact the university's International Relations department via email, phone, or website.
You should contact the French Embassy or Campus France office in your home country.
The respective French university backs the application form and assists the student in filling it out.
Finally, the university sends the application on your behalf.
Students do not directly submit applications for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship programme. All scholarship applications from students must be submitted by French Higher Education Institutions.

Enrollment in the national health insurance scheme (Sécurité Sociale) certification Campus France will send you two documents each year to track your academic progress. These documents must be filled out and signed by your institution before being returned to Campus France. An evaluation form at the end of your first semester and a form reporting your performance at the end of the academic year are the documents.
The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship is chosen by a committee of four panels of experts from the departments of political science, law, engineering sciences, and management.
Members of the panels are not permitted to evaluate applications from institutions with which they are affiliated or associated.
Candidates are evaluated on the basis of their academic performance as stated on their application forms.
The candidates' institution and department are also taken into account in terms of their contribution to the promotion of the Eiffel Excellence programme.
Around 70% of the scholarships are awarded to candidates with outstanding academic performance, with the remaining 30% going to candidates who have never received a scholarship.

The Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs launched the Eiffel scholarship programme of excellence in January 1999. Its goal is to support French higher education institutions' international recruitment efforts in the face of increased competition among developed countries to attract the top international students for Master's, Engineering, and PhD programmes.
The cost of studying in France is not very high because the government pays a significant portion of registration fees and the cost of students' university life. For example, depending on the degree pursued, enrollment in a public university costs between 175 and 570 Euros per year. A meal in a university restaurant costs about 3 Euros. International students have the same rights as French students, but meal prices may differ slightly in private institutions.
