The University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship offers the following advantages:
Available to all international students, excluding citizens, permanent residents, or visa holders of New Zealand or Australia.
Approximately 50 scholarships are granted bi-annually, based on whether the candidate begins studies in Semester 1 or Semester 2.
Valued at up to INR 5,26,000 for both postgraduate and undergraduate programs.
Payments made as part of this scholarship remain tax-exempt, provided they are used for expenses related to the recipient's program of study.
Recipients are required to adhere to the scholarship's regulations and notify the Scholarships Office of any changes in their enrollment or funding status.
Applications for the University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship are open to international students who are neither citizens nor permanent residents of New Zealand or Australia. Additionally, applicants must meet these eligibility criteria:
Starting an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the University of Auckland.

The University of Auckland extends the International Student Excellence funding to new international undergraduate and postgraduate students in New Zealand. The selection criteria are rigorously based on:
Academic merit
Quality of the letter of application
Endorsement by the applicant’s referee
Additionally, the selection committee considers the applicant’s country of origin. The scholarship value is provided as a compulsory fee credit toward the first semester of study at the University of Auckland.
Please note: The scholarship cannot be deferred to the next semester; a new application would be necessary in such cases.
