This scholarship is given in remembrance of Richard A. Freund, a former ASQ president. The theory and practice of quality assurance, control, improvement, and comprehensive quality management are intended for graduate study.

Every year, before July, the prize will be given to the winner. The scholarship recipient will get INR 4,16,881, which they can put toward their cost of study.
International students pursuing master's or doctoral degrees in subjects including quality assurance, control, and improvement are eligible for this grant.
In order to be eligible for the Richard A. Freund International Scholarship, you must meet the requirements given below:
Your cumulative GPA for both undergraduate and graduate studies must be 3.25 or above.
If you’re seeking a master's degree or above then you’re considered to be an eligible applicant. Your subject of study must be quality assurance, control, improvement, total quality management, or programs with a similar focus on quality.
Your ASQ membership is not required.
International students are welcome, but they have to be out of high school right now.

You need to fill out your basic details like name, country, citizenship etc.
Once you have filled out the application form, you can courier it along with the required documents to the below mentioned address.

You must attach the following documents as part of the application procedure and application form.
Certified English translations
Academic transcripts.
Letters of recommendation based on job experience at the university.
A formal written statement of roughly 250 words should include your educational and career ambitions, as well as why you are a qualified candidate.
Photocopies of transcripts are not accepted by ASQ
The ASQ Selection Committee will consider GPA, Essay, LOR, combined undergraduate and graduate study, and a job that combines quality assurance and continuous development. The committee also considers the applicant's commitment to social responsibility and voluntary activities.
Because only one student is given each year, the applicant who excels above all others in all of the above prospects will be chosen for the scholarship award.
