The amount covers more than 80% of the cost of attendance at Stanford Graduate Business School, which includes tuition, course fees (annually), living expenses, medical expenses, and other University-related fees.
The fellowship guidelines state that the recipients must return to India once their course is completed. Furthermore, they must work for two years in an Indian organization. During the fellowship program's evaluation process, a total of 50 candidates are shortlisted. Candidates are chosen based on their academic qualifications, financial need, and overall application profile. However, the acceptance rate for scholarships is only 5.4%, making it extremely difficult to obtain. Only three of the 50 shortlisted candidates are chosen for fellowship based on their leadership qualities, skills, work experience (if any), financial needs, and overall profile.
