To apply for the MSc in Civil Engineering, you need a minimum of a 2:2 undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering. If you have work experience or training but do not meet the normal entry requirements, you may still be considered based on your individual situation. Other engineering degrees can also be accepted if you have relevant industry experience. For the Civil Engineering (Technical Route) MSc, the requirement is also a minimum of a 2.2 UK or overseas undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering. If you have a CEng accredited Bachelor’s degree, you can enroll if you meet the entry requirements. If you have an IEng accredited or an overseas Bachelor’s degree, you will need an academic assessment for CEng approval, which may include taking extra modules. Students must achieve 60% in a 3-year undergraduate degree or 55% in a 4-year undergraduate degree. Students from certain universities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai (Madras), Anna, Amity, Andhra Pradesh, Aligarh Muslim, Pune, Bangalore, and JNTU will be considered with 55% in a 3-year undergraduate degree, unless they are applying for Health and Life Science courses.
