MBBS Medicine at Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL)

Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) has a School of Medicine and Dentistry that offers a five-year MBBS Medicine degree. This program focuses on Medicine and Health Sciences. For international students, the tuition fees are set at £48,700. To enroll in the MBBS program, students must meet English language requirements, which can be demonstrated through tests like IELTS or PTE.

12th Grade

To meet the requirements for 12th grade, students need to achieve a score of 90%. They must have A levels with grades A*AA, completed in one sitting within a maximum of two years. The required A levels include: 1) First A Level: Chemistry or Biology, 2) Second A Level: Another science subject (Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or Maths), 3) Third A Level: Any subject except Critical Thinking and General Studies. If Maths and Further Maths are taken together, Further Maths does not count towards the A*AA requirement. A* can be in any of the three subjects. Additionally, a 2:1 or higher is required in any degree subject with necessary Biology and Chemistry qualifications. For Standard XII, students must include Chemistry or Biology and one more science subject. The percentage requirement is an average of all subjects. Students from the National Board (CBSE/ISC) need 90%, from West Bengal Council of Higher Education need 85%, and other boards need 95%.

For IELTS, the required score is 7 out of 9, with a minimum of 6.5 in Writing and 5.5 in Reading, Listening, and Speaking.

For PTE, the required score is 68 out of 90, with at least 62 in Writing, and a minimum of 51 in Reading, Listening, and Speaking.
