MPharm (Hons) Pharmacy

Swansea University Medical School provides a Bachelor of Pharmacy (MPharm Hons) program. This is a 4-year degree focused on Medicine and Health Sciences. For international students, the tuition fees are £21,650 per year. To enroll in the MPharm program, students need to meet English language requirements by taking tests like IELTS or PTE.

This degree recognizes these new and advanced roles, combining science and practice to prepare students for the changing world of pharmacy.

Students will follow a curriculum that shows how pharmacists work with patients and how patients come to pharmacists for help.

They will also build the academic, practical, and personal skills needed to practice pharmacy effectively and confidently.

Students will study seven main themes that follow the General Pharmaceutical Council's (GPhC) suggested curriculum.

Learning will happen through different methods, including lectures, case studies, workshops, lab classes, hands-on experiences, and a research project led by students themselves.

12th Grade

Students must have at least 70% in their Year XII exams, including 70% in English. They should have studied Chemistry and at least one other STEM subject such as Biology, Physics, Mathematics, or Psychology.

IELTS

Marks: 6.5

Students need a minimum score of 6 in each component of the IELTS test.

PTE

Marks: 69.0

Students must score at least 69 out of 90 in the PTE, with no component lower than 64.
