Integrated Master in Sociology: Criminology at University of Essex

The School of Law at the University of Essex offers an Integrated Master in Sociology with a focus on Criminology. This degree program lasts for four years and is part of the Humanities and Social Sciences stream. For international students, the tuition fees at the University of Essex are £16,850. Additionally, students who wish to enroll in this degree program are required to provide an IELTS score.

12th Grade

To meet the requirements for 12th Grade, students need to have a minimum score of 75% overall. Additionally, they must have at least 60% in Mathematics from Indian Year 10 (Standard X) or 40% in Mathematics from Indian Year 12 (Standard XII). The average of the four best subjects (excluding Physical Education and local language) must be: 75% for CBSE, CISCE and other boards; 65% for Karnataka (Bangalore), Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh boards; and 60% for Kolkata (West Bengal board). If taken with CBSE or CISCE board, a score of 70% in English from Year 12 (Standard XII) is also accepted. For GCSE, students need Mathematics and a Science subject at grade C/4. In A-levels, a score of ABB is required, including one science subject or Mathematics.
