Application Process for MBA at the University of Glasgow

Step 1: Prepare Your Documents

Statement of Purpose (SOP)

Applicants for the MBA program must submit a personal statement. This statement should describe your work experience, especially focusing on your managerial roles and responsibilities. Make sure to include:

• Your responsibility for planning business goals and objectives.

• Details about the team you manage, which should consist of at least three people.

Letter of Recommendation (LOR)

You need to provide one reference letter on official letterhead. This letter is usually from an academic source. However, if that is not possible, a reference from your current employer can also be accepted.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Your CV should provide a detailed account of your work experience, emphasizing your managerial roles and responsibilities. Include:

• Managing a team of at least three people.

Installment Plans

The university offers a manual installment plan for tuition and other fees. Here are the details:

• Tuition and bench fees can be paid in eight installments starting in October, due on the 30th of each month.
• Accommodation fees can be paid in seven installments.
• Any deposits paid in advance will be deducted from your account before calculating your installment amounts.

Make sure you have enough funds to cover your installment payments, which should be paid directly to the university by the due date. Use your student number as a reference.

Important Note

If you miss two payments in a term, the university will cancel your installment plan. The full remaining balance will be due immediately, and you will not be able to reinstate the plan for that term.
