• Letter of Recommendation (LOR) You only need one reference letter. Here’s who you can ask: If you are still in school, ask a tutor, teacher, principal, or headteacher. If you left school years ago, ask an employer, volunteering supervisor, or trainer. Do not ask family, friends, partners, or ex-partners for a recommendation. If you do, your application may be canceled. In your application form, just include the referee's name and email address. An academic reference must be included in the UCAS application. If you graduated and have been working for less than three years, an employer reference is acceptable. (This applies only for BN (Hons) in Nursing.)
