BA Classics and Modern Languages at University of Oxford

The Faculty of Classics at the University of Oxford offers a Bachelor of Arts in Classics and Modern Languages. This degree program lasts for four years and focuses primarily on Humanities and Social Sciences. For international students, the tuition fees at the University of Oxford are £41,130. 12th Grade

To apply, students need to have completed high school with a minimum of 90% overall. It is helpful to have studied classical languages like Latin or Ancient Greek, Classical Civilisation, or Ancient History, but these are not required. For languages like French, German, Russian, and Spanish, students are expected to have an A-level or equivalent in the modern language. Beginners' courses are available for some languages, but only if the student has studied Latin or Ancient Greek to A-level or equivalent. Students from the CBSE or CISCE boards must meet specific grade requirements: CBSE students need grades A1 A1 A2 A2 A2, with A1 in relevant subjects. CISCE students need an overall grade of 90% with at least 95% in two subjects and 85% in three others. NIOS Year XII qualifications are not accepted.
