BSc Hons Pharmacology at University of Portsmouth

The School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Portsmouth offers a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Pharmacology. This is a three-year degree program focused on Medicine and Health Sciences. For international students, the tuition fees at the University of Portsmouth are £16,400. Students will learn new methods for diagnosing and treating diseases, including the use of DNA drugs, and will study how cells communicate with one another.

Students will have access to specialized facilities, which include live-cell imaging, spectroscopy equipment, chromatography instruments, molecular modeling tools, chemical synthesis labs, and various types of microscopes such as confocal, electron, and fluorescence microscopes.

12th Grade

Students must have completed high school with at least 70%. Required subjects include Biology or Chemistry, along with a second pure Science subject or Mathematics. Applied Science is not accepted. For students with A levels, passing a separate science practical component is desirable. Students with an average of 75% or above in State Board 12th Standard exams or 70% in Central Board exams will be considered. Relevant subjects must have been studied with strong grades.

IELTS

Marks: 6.0

Students need a minimum score of 6 out of 9, with no score below 5.5 in any component.

PTE

Marks: 54.0

Students need at least 54 out of 90, with a minimum of 51 in each component.
