The University of Surrey offers a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Mechanical Engineering, which is a three-year program. The tuition fee for this course is £26,000. To gain admission to the BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering program, students must demonstrate their proficiency in the English language. The accepted test for this requirement is the IELTS.

12th Grade

To apply, students must have completed their 12th grade with the following minimum scores: 75% from ICSE/CBSE/ISC boards, 65% from the West Bengal board, or 80% from other boards. Required subjects include Mathematics and either Further Maths or Physics. Alternatively, students can have Mathematics and two physical science subjects like Chemistry or Computer Science. For English, students need to score at least 70% in Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard XII from CBSE or ISC boards, or 80% from most Indian state boards (except Haryana, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, U.P., Bihar, Gujarat, Punjab). In Mathematics, students must score at least 40% in All India Standard X exams or 50% in Standard X from a state board.
