Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited school with a good grade point average. They do not need a degree in a field related to the MS in finance program. Students still in their undergraduate program can apply, but they must complete their degree before starting the Kogod graduate program. Prerequisites for the MS in finance program include: 6 undergraduate credit hours in micro and macroeconomics or 3 graduate credit hours in economics, 3 credit hours in statistics, and 6 undergraduate credit hours in financial accounting or 3 graduate credit hours in accounting.
